The generator at the guest house is now in place! For those who did not see this beast (measuring 3' x 7' and weighing in at 1000lbs.) when we loaded the container, this was no small feat! They used a forklift at the warehouse yesterday to get it off the container onto a box truck, but it would have cost $600USD to have a forklift come to the house to get it off the box truck so they decided to do it by hand. Jeff, Marv, Max, and Jacque used the 4x4's and PVC sent on the container to slide it off the truck and roll onto the platform built for it to sit on. I wish we had it on video. Fortunately, they are all still in one piece.
Jeff said the look on Max's face when he saw the contents of the container made all the work worthwhile! He can't wait to see the boys and girls at Good Samaritan when they see all that was provided for them! The container is scheduled to arrive at the house 1:30pm our time, 12:30 (or sometime thereafter) Haiti time :)
Thank you again to all who have been part of this container! What a difference this will make for so many!
Bondye Beni Ou, God Bless You!
God has answered our prayers...in His timing!
Again, Bondye Fidel, God is faithful!
