Always Enough

We have heard so much good news just since Wednesday night. We praise God that so many of the kids we have ministered to are alive. Many of the adults we have worked along side survived. We have heard of the loss of life of one we knew and who will be greatly missed. The little girls who were orphaned at one time then given a home and a family have lost their father. We can't imagine their emotional trauma. We have seen the death toll rise, some never even named, some whose family never got to say goodbye to. We know many have survived but lost their homes. We still wait to hear from some very dear to us.We hope and we wait.

We celebrate with many today whose lives have been spared.
We mourn with those that lost loved ones or that have been orphaned or left homeless.
We hope with those that can't find their loved ones.
We cling to what we know...Lord you are enough.

Casting Crowns "Always Enough"
In the dry and weary Land,
Lord you are the rain
In the sea of shattered ones,
your love comes rushing in
You hold the world within your hands
You see each tear that falls
through every fire and every storm
You're always enough
Your love is peace to the broken
faith for the widow
hope for the orphan
strength for the weak
Your love is the anthem of nations, rings out through the ages
and you're always enough for me
Today I cling to what I know is true for us and for what is true for the Haitians...Lord You are enough. I am on my knees today praying for those who celebrate, for those who mourn, for those who hope, for those who rescue, for those who bury, for those who treat, and for those who minister. Lord you are enough.
