I just had a long conversation with the Max and Margarette (the parents of Good Samaritan in Port-au-Prince) tonight. After asking them a lot of questions of what they need us to bring them when we head down next Monday, they told me that they are going to Leogane on Friday to check in on an orphanage that our ministry has been helping with food, medical care, and supplies over the past six months.
Margarette along with a number of the Good Samaritan children came with us to minister and help care for these ninety plus beautiful kids. It was amazing to see orphans serving other orphans.
When I thanked Max and Margarette for checking in on these kids and the orphanage in Leogane for us they replied, "It is our mission, this is why God let us live." Please keep them in your prayers as they make the long and dangerous journey to Leogane on Fri. and may God have mercy on their findings.
