It has been made clear to me that this mission we are on in Haiti is a team effort. We are not alone. So many of you have joined with us. You have chosen to take part in this fight. Whether by prayer, encouragement, giving monetarily, donating supplies, going on trips, or sponsoring children,this church and community have stepped up and have shown that giving of oneself to help those in need is important.
We don't know why He chose us...but He gave us a mission...so humbly we go! We commit ourselves to follow His leading. We seek His discernment. We trust His guidance. We ask for His protection.
Tonight we send Jeff, Doug T., Matt, and Marv off to be a big part of this mission. We commit them into God's care as they go and assess the damage and the needs of the orphanages, the schools, the church and many friends we are connected with in Haiti. We know they will be the hands and feet of Christ as they go and minister to those in need.
Tentative itinerary:
Mon - Flight into Dominican Republic
Travel to Jimani (boardering town between the DR and Haiti)
Tue - travel from Jimani into Haiti after buying a large supply of food and water
Wed - Sun
Will be filled with visiting orphanages/delivering needed supplies, checking on the kids' schools and Fan Fan's school, supporting Pastor Nathan and his church/community, setting up temporary shelter for as many as possible, looking for a new home for Good Samaritan Orphanage kids, trying to make contact with relief agencies to set up ongoing relief for the orphanages.

hygiene supplies, first aid items,water, food, gas, tents/tarps to provide temporary shelter from sun and rain.
