This is a copy of the e-mail that Matt Reichard (a member on our board) received from the Pastor that runs the orphanage that we are affiliated with in Jacmel, Haiti.
"We in the family and the girls in orphanage are well thanks to God. We are not able to count the deaths yet. The buildings collapsed and we still can not estimate the damage. We have been out with the girls at the airport to sleep at night. They are all fine thanks to God. We can not approach the building yet. But it does not collapse.Give the news to the sponsors for us. They all alive. My living house is broken. we have no room upstairs now. The school stands just for the glory of the Lord. Everybody is sleeping in the court yard and some in the streets. My daughter and my son were in the house and the Lord was with them and protected them safely."
